Carpet Cleaning

Carpets are continually collecting dirt, dust and germs and can easily be soiled and stain with food spillages or
from pets.

CVC specialise in rug and carpet cleaning using our three stage process that gives a deeper clean. First we
inspect the carpets and pre spray them with the shampoo which gives it time to soak into the dirt and stains and
prevents dust going air borne. We then brush the carpets to loosen dirt and remove embedded hairs and helps
restore the pile (Please note. Indentations by heavy furniture over time are unlikely to come out like new). We
use our high vacuum hot water extraction machine to wash the dirt from the carpets leaving them slightly
damp. They usually feel dry in a couple of hours in a warm house and can be walked on immediately.

We pre treat stains and are usually successful in removing them but can not guarantee it. Natural fibres such as
wool are more difficult to remove marks from. We are usually successful at removing stains such as tea,
coffee, red wine, blood and some make up. If stains require our specialist stain removal chemicals there is
usually an extra charge for this.

Our trained workers are insured and we move furniture such as sofas, tables and chairs while we do the
cleaning. We do not usually move TV cabinets, beds, wardrobes or anything impractical.

Stain removal

We are mostly successful at treating ad removing stains such as grease, oil, red wine, blood, coffee, tea, lillie
and many make ups.

Some stains can be very difficult to remove, especially on a natural fibre carpet such as wool. Permanent
markers, radiator chemical stains, dried nail varnish, gloss paint are very difficult to remove and we generally
decline these types especially if someone has attempted to remove them with other cleaning chemicals such as
vanish or 2001.

Although we are highly successful in removing stains we can not guarantee they will come out as there are
many factors beyond our control.

Rug Cleaning

Our trained workers are insured and use professional equipment, shampoo and stain removal chemicals and will move tables, chairs and sofas when cleaning your carpets.  (We don’t usually move TV cabinets, very heavy display cabinets, wardrobes or beds).

Although we are highly successful at removing stains such as tea, coffee, food, wine etc, we can not guarantee they will all come out.  Please advise if you have tried to remove the stain with chemicals such as vanish or 2001 as this affects our cleaning process.
