Chairs and sofas not only gather dust and dirt over time but can be marked with bodily fluids such
as grease and sweat. Pets can leave water marks and children often spill food and drinks.

We use a commercial child and pet safe upholstery shampoo which is specially formulated for
cleaning upholstery and mattresses and give brilliant results when removing dirt, water marks, oils,
bodily fluids and grease from hair and pets.

Upholstery comes in various fabrics and some are not suitable for a wet shampoo clean such as
velvet, viscose and velour. These are the very soft ones to the touch and usually lose some of their
softness once they have dried.

We use a three stage cleaning process. First we pre spray the upholstery fabric with the shampoo to
give it time to work on the dirt and stains. We then brush to loosen the worst areas. The we
employ our industrial high vacuum cleaner that only uses water to clean our the sofa or chair and by
using only water in the machine it does not leave shampoo residues. Some add the shampoo
directly to the machine and this will leave some traces of the cleaning chemical behind.
